Singapore, October 2025 – Education and inclusion have always been close to my heart. Recently, I had the opportunity to contribute S$100,000 to St Andrew’s Autism Centre (SAAC) — an organisation that provides education, training, and lifelong care for individuals with autism in Singapore
During his visit to the Centre, Mr. Babu Dilip met with the passionate team of educators, caregivers, and volunteers whose compassion fuels every program and initiative at SAAC. What he witnessed was more than care — it was love in action. It was the strength of humanity, expressed through patience, empathy, and hope.
“It was truly inspiring to meet their wonderful team and see the love and dedication they put into supporting individuals with autism. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to their meaningful work and hope this donation helps make a positive difference,” said Mr. Babu Dilip.
Moments like these remind me that the true measure of success lies not in what we accumulate, but in what we give — and in how we make others feel seen, supported, and valued.
SAAC was established in 2005 to meet a growing need to serve persons on the autism spectrum. It offers a range of programmes, including a Special Education School, two Day Activity Centres, Singapore's only Residential Home for persons with autism, and other key projects to address challenges that persons with autism face. All these are designed to enable persons with autism to lead dignified and meaningful lives. Today, SAAC serves over 470 individuals across all of its services and continues to make headway with serving persons with autism in Singapore.
