Singapore, November 12, 2025 – In a continued effort to uplift children and strengthen communities, Babu Dilip, CEO of Info-Tech Systems, as his personal donation, donated S$600,000 to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (STSPMF). This heartfelt contribution marks his fourth annual donation since 2022, bringing his total support to an inspiring S$1.45 million.
Accompanied by his wife Ramya and their children — Arjun, Harini, and Srinithi — Mr. Dilip presented a mock cheque to Ms. Lee Su Shyan, fund trustee and associate editor (news) at The Business Times. Standing alongside his family during the presentation was a powerful reminder of the values he hopes to instill in his children: generosity, compassion, and the belief that giving has the power to transform lives.
As a long-time advocate for accessible education, Mr. Dilip has always championed the belief that no child should be held back by financial limitations. His yearly contributions to STSPMF reflect this mission — helping underprivileged students meet essential needs such as daily meals, transport, school supplies, and other basic expenses required for their educational journey.
Expressing his gratitude and purpose, Mr. Dilip shared:
“Education shapes futures, and every child deserves the chance to learn without worrying about their basic needs. I am grateful for the opportunity to support this meaningful cause, and I hope this donation helps ease the journey for many young students.”
Established in 2000, The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund has supported thousands of students across Singapore, ensuring they have access to resources crucial for both academic success and personal development. With this substantial donation, the fund will be able to extend its reach even further — enabling more children to pursue their studies with confidence, stability, and hope.
