Giving Back to Society Through Education: Babu Dilip Contributes ₹45 Lakhs for New Auditorium at Sourashtra Higher Secondary School, Paramakudi
In response to the formal appeal made by Sourashtra Kalvikuzhu, Paramakudi on 18 April 2025,
Babu Dilip committed to supporting a major infrastructure need of the Sourashtra Higher
Secondary School, Paramakudi. The school urgently required a spacious auditorium to
accommodate over 1,200 students, conduct examinations, organise cultural programs, and host
community-focused educational activities.
Understanding the long-standing need and the significant impact this facility would create,
Babu Dilip personally contributed a total of ₹45 lakhs towards the construction of the new
auditorium — exceeding the initial requirement highlighted in the letter
A Vision Realised: Auditorium Successfully Completed
The new auditorium stands as a modern, well-ventilated, fully lit, and multi-purpose facility designed to support:
- Large-scale school assemblies
- Academic functions and cultural events
- Examinations requiring organised seating
- Student development activities
- Community educational programmes
Auditorium Completed & Inaugurated on 20 November 2025
The hall provides students with a dignified space to learn, perform, and participate — replacing the earlier situation where students had no adequate gathering facility.
Inauguration Held on 20 November 2025
After months of efficient construction and coordination, the auditorium was successfully completed and inaugurated on 20-11-2025 in the presence of school administrators, teachers, students, and community representatives. The event marked a proud milestone for the school and the Sourashtra community of Paramakudi.
The students showcased their talents, and hundreds of them gathered in the newly built hall — a moment that symbolised hope, opportunity, and the bright future ahead.
